People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) ‘area commander’ identified as Krishna Yadav is in touch with PLFI supremo, Dinesh Gope after he escaped from the custody of Balumath Police Station in Latehar District of Jharkhand on March 23, reports Hindustan on June 14. Police have received information that Krishna, who was active in the coal area of Latehar, Chatra and Ranchi Districts of Jharkhand, has joined the Dalam(armed squad) in Khunti District after absconding from the Police Station. Krishna Yadav was active in Khalari, Chanho, Budhmu areas in Ranchi District, Balumath-Chandwa region in Latehar District and Piparwar and Tandwa in Chatra District. He had sought levy from several businessmen and coal traders and also committed crimes. But after absconding from Balumath Police Station, he has changed his whereabouts and is living in Khunti District. Police announced a reward of INR 1, 00,000 over his head after he escaped from Police Station.
