An exchange of fire took place between the Security Forces (SFs) and cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) at Muduliguda forest under Swabhiman Anchal (earlier known as cut-off area) in Malkangiri District of Odisha early on March 14 (today), reports Odisha TV. Acting on a tip-off about the camps of the Naxals [Left Wing Extremists, LWEs] in Muduliguda, the Police launched a search operation in the area.
