Police identifies the youth killed by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres as Mandavi Deva, a resident of Bater village under Konta Police Station limits in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh, reports The New Indian Express. South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) had reported the killing incident on January 27. The victim had gone fishing with a few others and while returning, he was intercepted by around 20 to 25 armed Maoists, and accusing him of being a ‘Police informer’ they stabbed him to death at a place between Banda and Bater villages under Konta Police Station limits on January 26 evening, Police said.
