An Army personnel was killed as Pakistani troops violating ceasefire targeted forward posts and villages with mortar shells and small arms along the Line of Control (LoC) in Pallanwala and Sunderbani sectors in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on July 22, reports Daily Excelsior. A soldier, identified as Mohammad Arif Shafi Alam Khan Pathan manning a forward post, was critically injured in the Pakistani firing in Sunderbani sector and was immediately rushed to the military hospital where he succumbed to injuries, the Army officials said.
