The Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police took over the probe of the Chinese national, Junwei Han, who was apprehended along the India-Bangladesh international border at Malda District on June 10, India Today reports on June 15. According to Border Security Force (BSF) sources, the Chinese national was intercepted around the border area in Malda, West Bengal. When troops questioned him, he didn't give a satisfactory reply. Immediately, agencies concerned and local police were informed. A Chinese passport bearing a Bangladeshi visa, a laptop, and three mobile phone SIM cards were found on the man who was identified by security officials as Junwei Han. The Lucknow Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) had registered a case against Junwei, due to which he was not able to get an Indian visa in China. However, he managed to get a visa from Bangladesh and Nepal and came to India.
