The Chief Executive of the Government of National Unity Abdullah Abdullah, on February 25, said that the Taliban group has so far not decided to hold talks with the Afghan Government and the Afghan nation to find a negotiated settlement to the ongoing conflict in the country, reports The Khaama Press. Abdullah made the remarks during a meeting of the Council of Ministers which was organized before noon time on February 25. Abdullah further added that he was confident that Taliban remains one of the major obstacles on the way for peace process as the group has so far not decided to hold talks with the Afghan Government and the Afghan nation, emphasizing it is our responsibility not to leave any excuse for Taliban in this regard. He also added that the Afghan nation loses opportunity with each day passing with conflict and war.
