At least three soldiers of a Road Opening Party (ROP) were injured, one of them seriously, when militants detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Kulgam District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India on January 27 (today), reports Daily Excelsior. Official sources said, militants triggered an IED at Shamshipora, Kulgam, when a ROP was passing the area on main road. The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to arrest the militants responsible for the attack.
Security Forces (SFs) averted a major tragedy when they detected and defused a live grenade in Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India on January 26, reports Daily Excelsior. During the patrolling by SFs at village Sherpora in Chandoosa in Baramulla, a live grenade was detected, and later, the grenade was defused without causing any damage.
