Security Forces (SFs) recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), each weighing five kilograms, suspected to have been planted by cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) beneath a road between Dhanikarka and Surnaar villages under Kuakonda Police Station limits in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on November 29, reports Outlook.
The Maoists triggered an IED explosion killing an Assistant Commandant of CoBRA Force, identified as Nitin Bhalerao (33) and injuring nine others in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh on November 28, reports The Pioneer. Earlier, SATP reported one CoBRA force killed and seven others were injured in the incident on November 29.
