Police arrested a Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) ‘zonal commander’ identified as Sheetal Mochi from Simdega District of Jharkhand on March 4, reports jagran.com. Mochi, a resident of Ganeshpur under the Balumath Police Station area in Latehar District, was involved in several cases in the Districts of Lohardaga, Gumla, Latehar, etc., and had a reward of INR 1 million declared on him.
An ‘area commander’ of CPI-Maoist, identified as Ramashish Yadav alias Chalitar Yadav alias Angad (40), was arrested from Kolhua village under the Hunterganj Police Station area in Chatra District of Jharkhand on March 4, reports The Print. Yadav, a member of the hit squad for wanted ‘commander’ Gautam Paswan, was wanted in around 10 cases at various Police Stations in the district, Chatra Superintendent of Police (SP) Rakesh Ranjan said.
