Security Forces (SFs), on March 31, busted two militant hideouts in two different sectors along the Line of Control (LoC), Keran and Pingla Teethwal, in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition, reports Daily Excelsior. The operation at Pingla Teethwal was launched last evening in the forest area after specific inputs about a militant hideout in the area, in which a militant hideout was unearthed and huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by Army’s 17 Bihar Unit in Pingla Teethwal in Tangdhar area. Recoveries included 2 pistols, 3 magazines and 33 live rounds. In the other operation launched jointly by Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and Army, a special team dispatched from Kupwara towards Keran after receiving specific inputs about the accumulation of arms and ammunition in the forest area of Keran sector, led to the recovery of huge cache of arms and ammunition.
