Two Rohingyas, accused in a case filed over the murder of a Jubo League, the youth wing of Awami League (AL), leader, were killed in an encounter with Police in Teknaf upazilas of Cox's Bazar District in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh on August 24, reports The Daily Star. The slain Rohingyas identified as Muhammad Shah and Abdu Shukkur, were residents of Teknaf’s Zadimura Rohingya refugee camp. The duos were among the 15 named accused in the case filed over the killing of Omar Faruk (30) on August 22.
Earlier, South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) reported, Omar Faruk (30), President of ward No 9 unit of Jubo League, was gun downed by Rohingyas at Zadimura in Cox’s Bazar District in the Chittagong Division on August 22.
