Besides, a total of another 933 terrorists were arrested during the period, according to Manipur Director General of Police, A K Parashar. Around 131 assorted weapons, 1,907 assorted ammunition, 64 hand grenades, 35 wireless sets, nine bombs, seven Improvised Explosive Devices and 103 detonators were recovered.

A country-made gun and two pistols were recovered from the incident site. Choudhury, Joint Director of the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, reportedly stated that the Bangladeshi Directorate General of Forces' Intelligence (DGFI) was sheltering terrorists active in India’s Northeast. He also said that DGFI was supporting the Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence’s (ISI) proxy war in Northeast. According to Hindustan Times, alleging that the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak Muivah (NSCN-IM) to be hand-in-glove with the DGFI, Choudhury said, "The NSCN's liaison office in Dhaka, which is headed by Anthony Shimrey, maintains a close working relationship with the DGFI." Another official, R. Chandranathan, stated at the seminar that Bangladeshi youth had participated in the Afghan war and a significant number of them continued to be active members of Pan-Islamist groups.
