An Army spokesperson stated in Guwahati that the forest area was "cleared of all ultras" and the task given to the troops has been accomplished. He further said that the "operation has been a total success." Six United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) cadres and one Assam Police personnel were killed during the operation.
