According to Telegraph, the Union Government has received intelligence reports indicating that cadres of the ‘Bravo Company’ of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) are ready to return to Assam. They currently remain in camps in Myanmar. Sources in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said the militants while trying to return to Assam face a transit problem since the transit route from Myanmar to India across Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh are controlled by the Naga outfits. The National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) runs camps along the India-Myanmar border. "It essentially means they cannot come back without the help of the Khaplang faction of the NSCN," a source said.
