The Rockets targeted the Balochistan
Governor House and provincial Civil Hospital in Quetta, injuring
one person, in the night. Police said one rocket, which landed
on the lawn of the Governor House, failed to explode. The rocket
had been fired from an unknown location. The bomb disposal squad
defused the rocket. The Police said another rocket fired from
an unknown place hit the wall of the Civil Hospital. Its splinters
hit and injured one person. The rocket exploded with a big bang,
smashing windowpanes of some wards of the hospital.

Two Punjabi settlers were killed
in Ghosiabad Police Station area in the Satellite Town area of
Quetta. The victims were standing on a road when unidentified
armed motorcyclists opened fire at them. As a result, Malik Ifthakar
died on the spot, while Malik Tahir succumbed to his injury in
Hospital.

University Karachi was killed, while another was injured in an
ambush on the RCD Highway near Mangochar in Kalat of Balochistan.
Police sources said the students identified as Muhammad Ali and
Muhammad Yousuf, residents of Alamdar Road, Quetta were travelling
to Karachi in a car when unidentified armed men fired at their
vehicle. Ali died immediately and Yousuf sustained serious injuries.

on a railway track in the Sariab area of Quetta in Balochistan.
The blasts damaged the railway track, but no casualties were reported.

Police said that the building was being used by militants. However,

Fazal Bari was shot dead by the BLA in Quetta. Professor Bari,
Principal of the Tamir-i-Nau Public Model school and a former
chairman of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education, was going to the school when the unidentified assailants
on a motorcycle opened fire at his car near Bhosa Mandi, killing
him on the spot and injuring his driver Abdul Sattar. The BLA
claimed responsibility for the attack. Meerik Baloch, a spokesman
for BLA, calling from an unspecified place, said that the BLA
had organised the murder.

University, Nazima Talib, was shot dead in Quetta. A spokesman
for the BLA claimed responsibility for Nazima's killing. He told
reporters on phone that it was a reaction to the killing of two
Baloch women and torture of women political workers.
