On May 5, the Police recovered suspected explosives, and claymore mines were reportedly dumped by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in the Tipagad area in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra, reports pragativadi.com. The Gadchiroli Police intercepted CPI-Maoist plans to carry out Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks during Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Indian Parliament) Elections 2024 and carried out area dominance, during which the teams discovered six pressure cookers filled with explosives and detonators, along with three claymore pipes loaded with explosives and shrapnel, gunpowder, medicines, and blankets.
