On May 7, National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against three more cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in Nampally court in Hyderabad District of Telangana in the case of alleged supply of explosives and drones to CPI-Maoist, reports The Times of India. NIA officials said most wanted and absconding Maoists Hidma, Chokka Rao alias Damodar and Kamala were chargesheeted. A case was registered on June 5, 2023, by the Cherla Police after they arrested alleged couriers Nageswara Rao, Mallikarjun, Umashankar. They bought the explosives from one S Kumaraswamy, who was in possession of explosive license. Later, NIA took over the case and filed the first chargesheet against the arrested accused in September last. Now, a supplementary chargesheet has been filed in Nampally court.
