Six ‘militia’ members of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as K Pojja (35), ‘deputy commander’; R Sanna (31); M Sanna (30); K Manga (28); M Joga (45) and R Lakka, all hailing from Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh, surrendered before the Police in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana on April 21, reports The Times of India. These surrendered cadres were in the past involved in several offences, including planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) targeting Security Forces (SFs), destroying public property, etc., said Bhadradri Kothagudem Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Paritosh Pankaj.
