Quoting a booklet titled ‘Naxalite Terrorism for What’ released by the Jharkhand Police, on December 26, the Pioneer said that the booklet termed the left-wing extremists-Naxalites as ‘rapists who plunder the public’. The booklet also reportedly mentions names of three top Maoist Communist Center (MCC) leaders who were expelled from the outfit for siphoning off money meant for the organization. "Initially, the Naxalite movement began with the aim of fighting social inequality, feudalism, oppression of the poor. But with the passage of time, Naxalities have strayed from their ideology and are involved in raping innocent women, plundering the public, looting banks and other misdeeds. Wine and women replaced ideology," the booklet stated.
