In a third such seizure, police recovered two rifles and ammunition from a tractor at Puliyanthivu near Batticaloa Town. The driver of the tractor has been arrested and is being questioned. Preliminary investigations into this incident revealed that these weapons had been collected from Kokkadicholai and were transporting towards Pudur to be handed over to an LTTE sympathiser.
