One militant of KNA/ KRA-U, identified as Kamminlun
Hmar alias Henry alias Pupu (27) was reportedly killed in a
gun battle between a combined team of KRA, KRA-U under KNO and
KNF under UPF at Khengjang village in Kangpokpi District. Both
the formations are under SoO agreement; KRA-U is under KNO and
KNF under UPF.

|
Two militants of KNO/ KRA, identified
as Satkholhun Haokip (35) and Ngamlet Haokip (41), were killed
by KNF-P near Boljang village in Kangpokpi District. Earlier,
on the same day (May 5) three persons, including these two were
abducted by the KNF-P.

Two militants were killed in a reported clash
between the UTLA led by Robert and UTLA (SK Thadou) in the interior
village area of Laikot in Manipur's Tamenglong District. Police
sources said that the fighting between the rival groups took
place in Laikot area which is about 25 kilometers south of Nungba
Police Station. Laikot is a Kuki village. UTLA outfit is active
in the hills of Jiribam and the adjoining areas. Later on, UTLA/UTLF
clarified that the reported gun fight was among the UTLA with
KNO cadres and UTLA/UTLF was not involved in the incident. In
a statement, SK Thadou, chairman of UTLA/UTLF said the outfit
never involved in any violence since it entered the tripartite
agreement in 2013.

were killed in an inter-factional gunfight occurred at a secluded
place located between Leikot and Phaijang villages under Saparmeina
Police Station in Senapati District. Leader of a breakaway group,
Sehkholen is suspected to be among those killed in the gunfight.

One militant belonging to the KNF-Z was lynched
in Churachandpur District by the militants of the HPC-D. The
HPC-D operates in Manipur, Mizoram and Assam. Police sources
said that there was a standoff between the militants over the
turf war and both sides had made their presence felt. While
one of the militants died on the spot, two others sustained
life threatening injuries.
