On May 14, Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) arrested four gangsters, identified as Gurwinder Singh alias Shera, Ranjit Singh alias Sonu, Jagjit Singh alias Jashan, and Gurpreet Singh and recovered three pistols along with 13 cartridges and impounded an SUV in Rajpura city in Patiala District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. All four individuals were associated with Iqbal Preet Singh, alias Buchi, who operates from abroad. Sources have confirmed that Buchi maintained contact with the deceased pro-Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar and is also a close associate of Ramandeep Bagga, alias Canadian, who was a primary shooter in seven targeted killings between 2016 and 2017. While Buchi faces 11 cases related to murder, attempted murder, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), and the Arms Act, Bagga is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail.
