According to media reports, three Maoist insurgents were killed and one security force (SF) personnel was injured in a clash when the insurgents tried to attack a patrol team near the border of Bardia and Kailali districts on November 20. Two automatic rifles, magazines and six socket bombs were recovered from the possession of the slain insurgents. Meanwhile, SF personnel have killed five Maoist insurgents in separate incidents, including two each in Dolakha and Kailali districts and one in Syangjha on November 19. Further, SFs defused powerful bombs in two different places, one at Dharan-Dhankuta and the other in a school at Laxmipur in the Jhapa district on November 20.
