Further, 12 ward chairmen of the Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City have collectively resigned from their posts on July 6 citing the reason of resignation of the Surya Bahadur Thapa Government. Following escalation of abductions by the Maoists, hundreds of students in Dadeldhura district have also left their schools.
