Security Forces (SFs) recovered a 40-kilograms Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the forest area of Tengrakhurd village under Nimyaghat Police Station limits in Giridih District of Jharkhand on July 9, reports Odisha TV. Following a tip-off that Maoists have planted an IED to target the SFs, an operation was launched by the troops of Quick Action Team (QAT) 154 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jharkhand Police to detect and defuse the IED. Later, the IED was recovered and defused safely.
