Barnala Police recovered 8.29 kilo grams of heroin worth INR 40 Million and 15 grenades on May 22 from Badeke Border Outpost (BOP) in Firozpur District of Punjab from near International border with Pakistan, reports Tribune. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Barnala Sandee Goel “On May 13 our police had arrested a woman and confiscated 55 grams heroin from her possession. During questioning we got specific information that the second big consignment of heroin would be coming in some days near Badeke BOP”.
