The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered four packets of contraband suspected to be heroin weighing 500 grams each from the Abohar sector along the Indo-Pak International Border (IB) in Fazilka District of Punjab on September 6, reports United News of India. A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier's Headquarter of the BSF said that the alert troops of the BSF challenged the Pakistani smugglers after observing their activities in the area of responsibility of 124 Bn BSF following which they ran towards the Pakistan Territory. During a search of the area, the BSF troops recovered the contraband suspected to be heroin weighing two kilograms.
