Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on June 17 stated that continuous infiltration bids are being made along the Line of Control (LoC) in a bid to keep “terrorism alive”, reports Daily Excelsior. Singh stated that various Pakistani agencies are engaging in these activities despite the decline of militancy in Kashmir. “This type of activities is still on when militancy is at its last breath. Our agencies have foiled these attempts, the anti-infiltration grid along the border is strong and it is working strongly and effectively,” he said. Singh added further that some successful infiltration bids have taken place in Rajouri-Poonch areas in which some militants managed to infiltrate, who targeted civilians and Security Forces (SFs).
