Former Governor of the Western Province Azath Salley on June 11 appeared before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday terrorist attack said the authorities had been forewarned several times about the activities of the Muslim extremist organization National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ), reports Colombo Page. The PSC convened despite the President Maithripala Sirisena's objections to the proceedings of the committee.
