Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, who is wanted by India over allegations of terror-related activities and inciting extremism through hate speeches, has been banned from giving speeches in Malaysia, reports NDTV on August 20. In July 2018, India made a formal request to Malaysia asking for his extradition. However, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamed said he would not be deported "as long as he is not creating any problem".
