Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) posters were recovered near Dava village on the Balrampur-Baghmundi State Highway under Balrampur Police Station limits in Purulia District of West Bengal on the eve of Panchayat (village level local self-Government institution) elections on June 13, reports tv9bangla.com. In the posters written in red ink on white paper the Maoists had threatened to kill Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), of Balrampur Assembly Baneswar Mahat and former Congress MLA of Baghamundi Assembly, Nepal Mahat. The poster threatened the BJP MLAs to quit the party.
