One Taliban militant was killed and four civilians were injured in a Taliban shooting at civilians on the outskirts of a bazaar in Shirzad District in Nangarhar Province on November 13, reports Bakhtar News. A group of Taliban motorcyclists opened fire on a number of villagers, following which the military reportedly took action to rescue civilians inside and an exchange of fire broke out between soldiers and the Taliban militants. Nangarhar media office said in a news release that one Taliban militant was killed and another injured in the clashes.
