Four personnel of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) unit of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured when three of their fellow personnel accidentally put their feet on a pressure bomb planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres in forests of Kodanar under Aranpur Police Station limits in Dantewada District on August 19, reports The Hindu.
In another incident, two personnel of the State Auxiliary Force (SAF), were attacked with sharp weapons near the Tongapal Police Station in Sukma District on August 19, reports The Hindu. The attack took place when the personnel were having tea at a tea-stall near the Police Station.
Meanwhile, the District Force (DF) arrested a Maoist, identified as Rajman alias Raju Korram, carrying a cash reward of INR 5,000 on his head, during search operation in Dholpara area under Dhaudai Police Station limits in Narayanpur District on August 19, reports The Pioneer. Raju Korram was a member of Maraskol Jan (people) militia of the CPI-Maoist.
