On March 9, Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres shot dead a tribal youth, identified as Sainath Narote (26), on suspicion of being a ‘Police informer’ in Mardhur village under Bhamragarh Taluka (administrative division) in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra, reports loksatta.com. Sainath was preparing for competitive exams away from his village and had come to the village on the occasion of Holi. The Maoists picked him up from his house on the suspicion that he was a Police informant and shot him dead.
