Police arrested two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) sympathisers, identified as M Nagaiah and P Srihari Babu, at Nallabelli of Dummugudem Mandal (administrative sub-division) in Bhadradri-Kothagudem District of Telangana on July 23, reports Telangana Today. During vehicle inspections at Nallabelli, local Inspector of Police M Ravi Kumar and personnel of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 141Bn-G spotted two bike riders, M Nagaiah of Rajupet in Bhadrachalam town and P Srihari Babu of Ramavaram, trying to run away on seeing the Police were taken into custody and questioned during which they confessed to Police that they had been supplying material and money to Maoists for the past sometime. On July 23, they collected cash from a sand contractor G Buchi Raju and revolutionary literature from R Nagaraju of Ramavaram in Chunchupalli Mandal in the district and were going to Chhattisgarh to handover the cash and books to Maoists. INR 100,000 cash, three cell phones, a motorcycle and revolutionary literature were seized from the possession of the arrested persons and they were sent to judicial custody, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), B Rohith Raj said.
