Two militants have been killed by Security Forces (SFs) in an encounter at Yedipora in Pattan area of Baramulla District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on September 30 (today), reports Daily Excelsior. Both the local militants were linked with proscribed terror outfit Jaish Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Kashmir said.
Police arrested a militant associated with Ansar-ul-Gazwat-ul-Hind (AuGH) in Srinagar District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on September 29, reports Daily Excelsior. A Police spokesman said that one categorised militant of AuGH, Junaid Ahmad Parray of Nawakadal, was arrested by a joint team of Srinagar Police and 24 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) from Palpora, Srinagar. He said one pistol, magazine and live rounds were also recovered.
