Two Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) personnel were injured in firing by unidentified assailants at Manzil Pump near Kohi Goth Nadi inBin Qasim Town of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, on October 5, reports The Nation. The assailants opened fire on Rangers personnel and managed to escape. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Irfan Bahadur said that the Rangers personnel were performing their duty when they signalled four people riding a motorcycle to stop. “The personnel started chasing the assailants when they failed to oblige to being stopped,” SSP Malir added. In response, one of the motorcycle riders pulled out a pistol and opened fire on them, resulting in injuries to two personnel.
