One Security Force (SF) personnel and one terrorist were killed during a clash when terrorists attacked the Mandi Kas check post in Bara tehsil (revenue unit) of Khyber District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the night of January 29, reports The Khorasan Diary.
Security Forces (SFs) on January 29 shot dead a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP), reports ARY News. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on reported presence of terrorists, the SF conducted an IBO. During the exchange of fire, the SFs gunned down a terrorist, identified as Naikman Ullah. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorist.
The private security officer of an Awami National Party (ANP) candidate Aurangzeb Khan from Shangla District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sustained injuries when he was attacked by unidentified assailants on January 29, reportsThe Khorasan Diary. Aurangzeb Khan, however, narrowly escaped in the attack.
