Secretary of State of the United States (U.S.) Antony Blinken, on June 14, said the U.S. stands ready to work with Sri Lanka, in close coordination with the International Monetary Fund and the international community, reports Daily Mirror. In a twitter post he said, he had a good call with new Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. "Good call today with new Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. During these economically and politically challenging times, the U.S. stands ready to work with Sri Lanka, in close coordination with the International Monetary Fund and the international community," he tweeted.
