With the Supreme Court set to give its verdict on the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute in the first half of November and intelligence inputs suggesting that terror suspects could sneak into India through Nepal, Uttar Pradesh, especially Ayodhya has been put on high alert and security, reports Daily Pioneer on October 18. While Assistant Director General of Police (ADG) (Law and Order) PV Ramashastri said that the police force was on alert in the state to ensure peace he did not confirm any specific input about terror suspects sneaking into Uttar Pradesh through the India-Nepal border.
