A wanted cadre of the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as Dablu Vishwakarma alias Shakti Vishwakarma, was arrested from Tandwa Police Station area in Aurangabad District of Bihar on February 2, reports The Times of India. Following a tip-off that the wanted cadre was hiding at Vishunpur village under Tandwa Police Station limits, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) launched a joint search operation and arrested Dablu Vishwakarma, who was wanted in several cases, including the 2018 assault on Rampravesh Mehta, a resident of Hussainabad village in Palamu District of Jharkhand, and demanding ‘levy’ (extortion money). Later, he was handed over to Hussainabad Police of Palamu District.
