A top Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadre, identified as Yogendra Koda of Munger Range in Bihar, was arrested by Bihar’s Jamalpur Special Task Force (STF) from Bengaluru City in Karnataka, reports prabhatkhabar.com on February 1. The Police of Munger, Jamui, and Lakhisarai districts were making continuous efforts to arrest him. 13 cases are registered against the arrested Maoist in Munger, Jamui, and Lakhisarai districts. In which there are more than half a dozen murder cases. In December 2021, Koda was involved in the killing of Parmanand Tudu, a resident of Mathura village, the newly elected head of the Azimganj Panchayat (village level local self-Government institution) of the Ladayatand Police Station area in Munger District.
