At least seven Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and six others injured in a landmine explosion on March 15 in the Sangan area of Sibi District in Balochistan, report The Balochistan Post. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch claimed that the IED blast resulted in killing 10 FC soldiers and seriously injuring four others.
Separately, two soldiers were killed and several others were injured when Baloch Nationalist Army (BNA) cadres attacked an Army convoy in Shapuk area of Kech District on March 12, reports Radio Zrumbesh. BNA spokesman Mureed Baloch said in a statement that the martyrdom of freedom fighters would get a move on rather than weaken the resistance of the organization. “The ongoing state operation against the organization will accelerate rather than reduce our national resistance because every son of Baloch has become strong against the occupier”, Mureed Baloch said
Meanwhile, one Army soldier was killed while another one injured when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres targeted two soldiers at the old vegetable market in Turbat town of Kech District on March 12, reports Radio Zrumbesh. BLF spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch said in a statement to the media that their cadres targeted two Security Forces personnel at the old vegetable market in Turbat. Major Gwahram Baloch further said that attacks on the occupying Pakistani forces would continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan and appealed to the people to stay away from the occupying forces.
