The District Police along with Central Reserve Police (CRPF) personnel on November 24 recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from a Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) hideout in Chatra District of Jharkhand, reports The Pioneer. The recovered items included rifles looted by TPC rebels from Police patrolling teams in the past such as .303 bore rifle, 189 live .303mm cartridges, at least 237 live .306 cartridges and 18 7.26mm bullets.
