One Army soldier was killed and two other soldiers sustained injuries when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres attacked Army checkpost in Kolwah Zerbar area of Mastung District in Balochistan on November 11, reports The Balochistan Post. The BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch stated that their cadres targeted checkpost with modern and automatic weapons. BLF accused the Army of handing over its posts in Kolwah Zerbar to “Death Squads.” According to Major Gwahram Baloch, these squads, masquerading as BLF fighters, have engaged in criminal activities to discredit the BLF and spread fear.
Unidentified gunmen attacked a Police checkpoint in Singani Sarmomin area of Turbat town in Kech District of Balochistan and took three constables’ hostage after relieving them of their official weapons on November 15, reports ARY News. The hostage Policemen were identified as Naeem, Nadeem and Sameer. The attackers also snatched two sub-machine guns and magazines from the Policemen.
The Security Forces (SFs) on November 15 allegedly forcibly disappeared a person, identified as Doda s/o Nasir, from Pasni area of Gwadar in Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post.
