Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) leader Ghanshyam Bhusal talking to media persons in Kathmandu on March 22 stressed the need for unity among the communist parties of the country, reports Republica. Bhusal said that there is a need for unity among the communist parties as they share the same theories and ideologies. He also stressed the need for unity with the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Socialist (CPN-Unified Socialist) that split from the CPN-UML and the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist Centre (CPN-Maoist Centre). Bhusal said that the country’s democracy will become strong if the communist parties unite. He also stressed the need for laying the foundation for party unity by forming a leftist alliance in the upcoming local elections.
