District Police led by Bishunpur Police Station in-charge, Sadanand Singh, arrested a former ‘sub-zonal commander’ of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as Mathu Lohra, from Mundar village under Bishunpur Police Station limits in Gumla District of Jharkhand on July 6, reports The Times of India. Lohra, a resident of Lohardaga village in Jharkhand, was the bodyguard of deceased Maoist ‘central committee (CC)’ member, Arvind, between 2010 and 2014. A country-made pistol was recovered from Lohra, said, Gumla, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Operations, Manish Kumar.
