On April 6, three unidentified cadres of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres were killed during an exchange of fire with Security Forces (SFs) in Karriguta Forests of Pujari Kanker near the border of Telangana and Chhattisgarh in the Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh, reports Odisha Bhaskar. SFS also recovered one AK47 rifle, one Light Machine Gun (LMG) and explosives.
A Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadre was gunned down by Security Forces (SFs) in the forest in Kirandul in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on April 5, reports The Times of India. During the search, forces found the dead Maoist, his weapon and explosives. He will be identified after being brought to base, said an officer involved in the operation. The operation is still on as the forces are trying to track down those who escaped, at the time of reporting.
