Acting on a tip-off, a team of the District Volunteer Force (DVF) and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of the Koraput Police recovered a huge dump of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in Ankadeli under the Machhkund Police Station limits in Koraput District of Odisha on March 21, reports ommcomnews.com. The team recovered five bundles of codex wire (weighing 50 kilograms), four bundles of detonators (100 each), 15 new walkie-talkies, a steel container, as well as several electronic gadgets. This dump was buried by Maoist leaders Uday, a ‘central committee (CC) member,’, Aruna, a ‘special zonal committee (SZC) member,’ and Suresh, a ‘SZC member,’ to target Security Forces (SFs) in the Andhra-Odisha Border (AOB) area with the help of local ‘militia’ (the people's army of the Maoists).
