The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres killed a former Maoist ‘militia member’ identified as Korra Pilku (35), after suspecting him to be a ‘Police informer’ at Kothapalem village in GK Veedhi Mandal (administrative subdivision) in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh on March 5, reports The Times of India. A group of Maoists entered the said village, dragged Pilku out from his house and hacked him to death. They also left a letter bearing the name of ‘Galikonda area committee’ near the deceased’s body, which accused Pilku of being a ‘Police informer’.
